The best Wrangler for the money. The 4.0L AMC I6 is a pushrod inline-six of near-mythical durability, 190hp and 235 lb-ft, will run 300k miles with oil changes. Body-on-frame, solid front axle, coil spring suspension. Extremely capable off-road. No ESC, 37% rollover risk, 3-star NHTSA, these numbers are genuinely bad and you must know this going in.
Why it's on this list
